Mumbai: They say good things come in small packages. The rule applies to movies too – where guest appearances by actors adds that extra dose of glamour to the movies. The buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a cameo in Aamir Khan-starrer 'PK'. According to DNA, the actor will not only be seen making a special appearance in the movie, but will also find a mention in the credits of Rajkumar Hirani's much-awaited film which releases today.
While we already know that Ranbir Kapoor has been roped in to work on Sanjay Dutt's Biopic with Rajkumar Hirani, but the news of RK being part of the movie was under wraps until the last minute.
Whether they be a small role, a song and dance sequence or even stars appearing as themselves – cameos are not so underrated a part in movies, and with Ranbir making the appearance, we now have an added reason to watch 'PK', which has been creating quite a buzz ever since it's first poster launch.
This isn't the first time Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a cameo, the actor made an appearance in Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Bhootnath Returns' earlier this year, where he was seen playing himself. He has also shot a special track Tai Tai Phish for 'Chillar Party' in 2011. Interestingly both the films were directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In the coming year, RK will be seen playing himself in 'Babbu Ki Jawaani' that stars Karan Wahi.While we do not know whether Ranbir will be playing himself or another character, we can only watch the movie and find out as the movie releases this evening.
