YSRC MLAs skip Jagan Mohan Reddy’s strategy meet
Hyderabad: Out of 67 YSRC MLAs only 38 participated in the strategy meet called by party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday.
The strategies to be adopted during the Assembly Session, scheduled to commence from Thursday were discussed. While the party claims that absence of the MLAs is not significant, sources say it exposes lack of obedience to the authorities.
However, an MLA said the absent MLAs had already taken permission from Mr Reddy.
Going by the discussion at the meeting, the AP Assembly Winter Session is likely to be stormy one as the YSRC has decided to stall proceedings over the farm loan waiver scheme.
Mr Reddy reportedly asked the MLAs to nail the TD government on every issue.
Party MLA G. Srikanth Reddy said, “We will raise the people’s issues including farmers’ suicide. We will demand specific reply. Issuing statements won’t suffice.”
