It is celebration time in Rajinikanth’s household. The actor’s younger daughter, Soundarya is expecting her first baby soon. The news about Soundarya being pregnant has come at a time when the music of her debut directorial venture, Kochadaiiyaan, has been nominated at the first level short listing for the Oscar Award.
Soundarya confirmed the news, “All of us including amma, appa, Aishu are very excited, and I feel very blessed.” During the audio launch of Kochadaiiyaan earlier this year. Rajinikanth had said, “In a family, women take on more responsibilities and they take care of children and spend more time with them.
Soundarya has gone through a lot of suffering while making this film and I am sure she will get many more offers to direct films. But, my sincere advice to her is to have at least two kids and then come back to filmmaking.” Maybe those words have struck home with Soundarya.
