Shahid Kapoor is all set to share screen space with ex-flame Kareena Kapoor (now Khan)
Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor might work in 'Dedh Ishqiya' director Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming film,'Udta Punjab'. According to reports, director Abhishek Chaubey is trying to bring together ex-flames Kareena and Shahid.
It is always interesting to see ex-lovers teaming up together for films and showing signs of maturity.According to the Times of India, Alia Bhatt and Shahid, who are also working together in 'Shandaar', will be the lead pair of the film.
The leading publication quoted a source as saying,"It is true that Kareena is being considered for a role in the film. However, she is not meant to be sharing screen space with Sasha. The 'Shandaar' pair — Alia Bhatt and Shahid — is likely to be cast opposite one another in this project. Abhishek apparently even met her for the same."
The film is touted to be a thriller drama with Alia and Shahid in the lead role and storyline will focus on youth and their mindset. The film was supposed to go on floors by the end of this year. While Kareena and Shahid's last movie together was "Jab We Met", this would be Alia and Shahid's second film together after 'Shandaar'.
Let's hope like Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone came together for 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', Shahid and Kareena's chemistry also gets loved and appreciated.
