Bipasha Basu gets a new nickname from 'Alone' director Bhushan Patel

Mumbai: We all know, Bengali nicknames can be really funny and sometimes embarrassing aswell. Bipasha Basu too has not been spared. She is one of those few Bollywood celebrities who has a host of nicknames like Bipsy, B, Bip, BB, Bhopu, Basu, Baby Basu, Bona, and Bips that her friends and family call her.

But 'Alone' director Bhushan Patel has a different take on things. The director who is currently revelling in the success of 'Alone' trailer crossing 4 million mark on video sharing site YouTube addresses Bipasha as 'BLongs'. which as Bipasha explains is short for being a Bengali Blonde. Bipasha took to Twitter to share the quirky and funny nickname with her followers.

The director was prompt to reply and said:

While we are not sure whether the cute name has any reference to the 'blonde stereotype'; nicknames are out of affection so not we are not complaining!

We'll give it to Bhushan Patel for creativity!
