Sachin Tendulkar autobiography to release in Marathi
Mumbai: Marathi will the first regional language in which the translated version of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's autobiography "Playing It My Way" will soon be released.
The Marathi edition will hit the stalls in March 2015 running into approximately 500 pages with around 40 photographs from the original English version of the book, Anil Mehta of city based Mehta Publishing House said on Wednesday.
"The original publishers of "Playing It My Way", Hatchet India will be facilitating publication of the autobiography in various regional languages in the country and Marathi will the first to bring out the translation," he added.
The price will range between Rs 400 and Rs 500 and pre-release booking of the Marathi translation will be announced soon, Mehta said, adding that the publication also had the honour of bringing out the first work authored by Sachin's father Ramesh Tendulkar, a Marathi poet, 25 years ago.
