President Pranab Mukherjee's visit to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh cancelled

HYDERABAD: President Pranab Mukherjee has cancelled his Southern Sojourn that was scheduled from December 24.
The governments of both Telangana state and Andhra Pradesh got a communique to this effect on Tuesday.
The President was scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad on December 24 and was supposed to stay till December 31.
Sources said Mr Mukherjee had to cancel his trip due to his health condition, which will not permit him to meet dignitaries and attend functions. The President has been advised to take rest after a surgery he had earlier this month.
