Lucknow: Senior UP minister Mohd. Azam Khan kicked off another major controversy on Sunday when he termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi a dictator. Mr Khan was speaking at a function in Amroha when he said that India has no place for dictators.
“Even a dictator like Saddam Hussein found a place to hide in the gutter but a dictator like Narendra Modi may not even find a gutter,” he said. Mr Khan also made some disparaging remarks about UP Governor Ram Naik and said that the latter was behaving like a priest in Ayodhya.
The BJP has taken strong exception to Mr Khan’s remarks and demanded immediate action against him.
