Bengaluru: Bengaluru city police commissioner M.N. Reddi said that the police is trying to trace the origin of a threat message posted on the twitter account of DCP (Crime) Abhishek Goyal.
“Anyone can open a Twitter account and post messages from anywhere. We will deal with such messages in our own way,” Mr Reddi said. Following the arrest of Masroor Mehdi, Mr Goyal had received a threat from twitter handle @abouanfal6 that stated, “We will not leave our brothers in your hand, Revenge is coming, wait for our reaction,” in reply to Mehdi’s arrest.
