December has been a busy month for almost everybody in the city with weddings and other festivities to attend. For businessman Nimmala Sadanand Goud things haven’t been any different. If truth be told, he might just be on his way to create a record.
Just this month, Sadanand received 40 invitations to weddings and other events that he made sure he attended without fail. “Be it friends, family or colleagues, I make sure I attend, if I am invited,” says Sadanand, who is a co-owner of three movie theatres — Arjun theatre in Kukatpally, Vyjanti theatre in Nacharam and Pratap theatre in Langar Houz.
Some of the prominent weddings that Sadanand Goud attended were those in the families of businessmen and politicians — Madhu Goud Yashki, Shankar Reddy, Tulsi Reddy and others. “It doesn’t get hectic, because I don’t stay for the entire event; I go just for sometime,” he says.
