The Centre formally declared the Polavaram project as a National one
Hyderabad: The Union government sought details of expenditure on Polavaram Dam from the AP government for reimbursement of the same.
After the Centre formally declared the Polavaram project as a national one, agreeing to bear the full expense, the AP government had sought Rs 2,000 crore for the expenses till June, 2015.
Responding to the series of requests from the AP government, the Centre asked the government to provide the details of the expenditure and the month-wise audited accounts.
