KARIMNAGAR: A 24-year-old sales executive landed behind bars on Friday for allegedly abusing a girl by creating an account on Facebook. The incident took place in Lalapalli village.
Sultanabad CI T. Srinivas Rao said the accused Egurla Mallikharjun, who is a sales executive with a private company in Karimnagar, created an account on Facebook in the name of the 19-year old girl belonging to Lalapalli and spread abusive messages to her friends from the account.
He confessed that he had created the account to harass the girl, who belongs to his brother-in-law’s family following some disputes between them. Mallikharjun is a resident of Vidyanagar in the city and is an MBA. He was sent to judicial remand.
