Apple had unveiled its first smartwatch in September, promised the launch in early 2015
Apple’s smartwatch, the Watch, was unveiled at the Apple keynote in September. The Watch was unveiled alongside the Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus flagship handsets, and the watch was promised to start selling early nest year.
According to 9to5mac, a Taiwanese newspaper reported that Apple’s supplier Quanta will begin mass production of the Watch in January and the devices will possibly start shipping by Spring. The initial production will run around 3 to 5 million units.
Apple has not yet given any specific date for the launch or the sale for the Watch. However, apple seems to be gearing up for the launch as the main website has now upgraded the content. There are more detailed images and information about the Watch.
