VIJAYAWADA: Contrary to expectations, Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena’s official recognition by the Election Commission has only garnered the interest of political circles, not film fans and youth of the city.
Even though Pawan Kalyan has a huge fan club, followers and the Kapu vote bank’s support in the city and as well as in Krishna district, no one seems to be celebrating.
However, political circles and experts are debating the developments and its impact on the BJP and the Telugu Desam.
There are many fan clubs in Vijayawada for heroes like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, NTR Jr, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. The fans usually react to every development relating to their heroes.
In this backdrop, it had been anticipated that the fans and supporters of Pawan Kalyan would celebrate the news of Jana Sena’s official recognition, in Vijayawada city and as well as in Krishna district. But that has not happened.
A film distributor and president of a fan club said that the fans are in a dilemma as Pawan Kalyan had supported the TD-BJP combine in the last elections.
