A. Giridhar sent to municipal affairs; Sambasiva Rao new TTD EO
Hyderabad: In the wake of reported differences between two principal secretaries in the Chief Minister’s Office, the Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday transferred A. Giridhar, principal secretary in CMO, to municipal administration and urban development department.
After the appointment of Satish Chandra as principal secretary in CMO, important departments were allotted to him. Due to this, Mr Giridhar was dissatisfied.
According to sources, Mr Giridhar was expecting TTD executive officer’s post, but he was made the principal secretary of municipal administration department.
The department will play a key role in the construction of the new capital city. Meanwhile D. Sambasiva Rao, principal secretary municipal administration department, was made TTD executive officer.
N.G. Gopal who is working as TTD EO was not given any post and was directed to report to the general administration department for further postings.
Ajay Jain, commissioner, Technical Education, was transferred and posted as secretary to the newly-created energy, infrastructure and investment department.
Commissioner of collegiate education is kept in charge as commissioner of technical education until further orders. Vice-chairman and MD of infrastructure corporation N. Gulzar was transferred and not given any post. He has been asked to report to the GAD.
