Actress Catherine Tresa’s brother, 19-year-old Christopher Alexander, has allegedly committed suicide in Bengaluru.
The actress, however, has not yet confirmed the news but police in Bengaluru claims Christopher left a suicide note behind, which indicates he was suffering from depression.
It has been alleged that he was estranged from the rest of the family. However, a source close to her said that she had been taking care of her brother’s education.
“Catherine regularly sent money to her brother and always talked about him. She loves her brother more than anybody else. Her brother had visited Hyderabad many times for her film occasions.”
The actress’ parents live in Dubai and the source says that all’s not well on that front. “Christopher had distanced himself from his parents and had decided to stay alone and study in Bengaluru. The boy was depressed with the family issues and might have committed suicide,” adds the source.
According to reports from Bengaluru, Christopher was “found hanging by his tie from a window grille” in the room allotted to him at a seminary.
