The Delhi government blacklisted Uber from providing any transport service in the capital
Hyderabad: Private cab service provider Uber is now banned in Hyderabad too. The transport department on Tuesday issued an official statement banning all its operations.
“As per the advisory given by the Government of India, The transport department has banned all activities related to providing of any transport service by www.uber.com with immediate effect,” the transport commissioner said in a statement. The decision to ban the cab firm was earlier taken by Delhi.
