Telangana police seek UP help in theft case

Hyderabad: Telangana State police have approached their counterpart from Uttar Pradesh seeking details of the Bijnor blast case accused who is suspected to have been involved in the Karimnagar bank heist.
The cops have sought CCTV footages and potraits of the suspects who are members of banned outfit Simi. The suspects escaped from the Khandwa jail in Madhya Pradesh. The same gang had decamped with Rs 46 lakh from the State Bank of India (SBI) in Telangana’s Karimnagar on February 1, 2014 and allegedly used that money to fund their terror activities.
