Celebrity host Gauahar Khan made headline on Monday morning, after a man from the audience got on stage and slapped her for wearing 'short clothes'. He was reportedly even teasing her through the show as he didn't approve of her choice of clothing
Mumbai: Gauahar Khan might be done with addressing the media after she was slapped by a member of the audience, but we are not done yet. This video which is making the rounds of the internet explains in a layman's language why Gauahar Khan was slapped and why such incidents still happen.
The young man in what seems to be a home recorded video makes a thought-provoking statement - the man who beat Guahar was yet another man who beats up his wife daily and this incident for him was a regular habit. He questions the Indian culture which traditionally stops women from wearing short clothes. He says how the older generation was wrong with their traditional approach to daily life occurrences which today poses as a threat to the younger generation. He goes on to make a case abouthow we have evolved as millenials and how our mindsets have evolved from the past.
