KOZHIKODE: Raising the slogan ‘Chumbilab Zindabad’, a group of social activists from a theatre group ‘The unknown Rebel’ will be staging a street play prior to the Kiss in Street protest on Sunday at Kozhikode New Bus stand.
The unknown rebel is an organization of eight members studying in various universities, and who are known for their street plays, which is used as a perfect medium to raise certain issues.
“Our play exclusively directed for the protest is a message cum show of solidarity for the protest that has created history in our land.
Through the protest we have tried to bring all the elements that two individuals of different genders face living in our society”, says a member.
The 20- minute-street play will be presented by the eight members of which is a girl from MG University who is visually challenged but has displayed guts to play a major role in the street play.
