Xiaomi Mi5 specifications leak out, unveiling expected soon
The Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi, has been working on the next flagship device for a while now. The Xiaomi Mi5, which is expected to be a killer flagship, could take down big names such as Apple, LG or Sony, as the market watchers claim.
According to a report on a Chinese website, the Mi5 will feature a powerful high-end hardware below the hood. This would comprise of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset buzzing with four Cortex A57 processors clocked at 2GHz and supported with an Adreno 430 graphics processor and possibly 4GB of 1600MHz RAM. The device is also expected to sport a 5.7-inch 2K display and camera support of 20MP. The Mi5 will sport a larger chassis, but will be slimmer than the Mi4.
The Mi5 will give a tough competition to other existing high-end smartphones from LG, OPPO, and a few others, who are already sporting 2K devices with powerful hardware.
The Mi5 is expected to be unveiled at the CES 2015, which is scheduled early next year.
We hope to see more glimpses of the design in the next few days.
