Hyderabad: Teaching associations of the universities in Telangana have threatened to launch an agitation if block grants for universities are not enhanced in tune with those in AP.
The JAC will hold a round table conference followed by a rally this month. Universities are to observe a bandh on Dec. 30 if there is no positive response from the government.
“The chief secretary assured our delegation that all the pending issues would be resolved within one week,” the JAC said.
