KOCHI: When the results of all events were announced on the concluding day of the Ernakulam revenue district youth festival held at Tripunithura, Aluva educational sub-district led the overall points tally.
The four-day extravaganza of art, music and dance concluded on Thursday. Competitions were held in three categories - upper primary, high school and higher secondary.
Among the 14 sub districts, Aluva secured 150 points in upper primary (general) section, 357 points in high school category and 411 points in higher secondary section.
Ernakulam sub district is in the second position in the UP and HSS categories with 142 points and 364 points respectively. In the high school section, Tripunithura won the second position with 338 points.
In the upper primary section of the Sanskrit arts festival, Tripunithura led the points tally with 88 points while Perumbavoor bagged the first position in the UP Arabic fest with 65 points. In the high school Arabic category Muvattupuzha sub district is in the top position in the points tally.
