Huma Qureshi, who is producer Ekta Kapoor’s new BFF, has been expressing her desire to work with Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
Apparently Huma feels that there is dearth of “A” list heroines for senior actors. Huma was overheard talking to Ekta and telling her how she fits the bill and is the perfect choice to star opposite Ajay Devgn, Salman and Akshay Kumar.
Her strategy of self-promotion and recommendation hasn’t gone unnoticed by her producer and her gang of friends.
“After the promo launch of her film Badlapur, Huma was seen spending time with Ekta and a few close friends when the discussion about starring opposite ‘A’ list actors came up. She was ecstatic while discussing the thought of sharing the screen space with Salman, Akshay and Ajay,” says her close acquaintance.
Huma scored over the newer lot of actresses such as Lisa Haydon, Daisy Shah and Tamannah Bhatia who were given a chance to work with the top actors, but did not manage to strike a chord with the audience. With top guns looking for an apt co-star, Huma might just be the one who’d fit the bill.
