12 Sena MLAs to get Maharashtra berths
The swearing-in ceremony of the expanded state Cabinet will be held on December 6
Mumbai: Even as the Shiv Sena has almost signed a power-sharing deal with the BJP government in the state, the party is still negotiating with its ally for one Cabinet berth and one MoS post in the Centre.
The swearing-in ceremony of the expanded state Cabinet will be held on December 6, in which 12 of Sena’s ministers are likely to be accommodated.
Shiv Sena leaders Anil Desai and Subhash Desai met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis late on Wednesday evening to discuss portfolios that were going to be allotted for Shiv Sena ministers.
A Sena leader confirmed that the portfolio issue is not yet resolved. “We will join the BJP government and our ministers will be inducted into the BJP government on Friday,” he said.
