Ahmedabad: In a gruesome act, a six-month-old girl was allegedly raped by an acquaintance of the victim’s family in Gujarat’s Patan district on Tuesday, night police said on Wednesday.
The accused is on the run, while the toddler is being treated at Dharpur civil hospital in Chanasma and is critical at the moment.
The incident occured when the victim’s parents had gone in the outskirts of the village with their two daughters. The acquaintance was asked take care of the youngest girl.
