Srinagar: Three militants were killed on Tuesday as Army troops foiled an infiltration bid along the LoC in poll-bound Kupwara district of north Kashmir, a defence spokesperson said.
Troops guarding the LoC noticed a group of militants attempting to infiltrate from across the border in Nowgam sector of Handwara. The militants opened heavy fire when challenged by the troops, triggering a gunbattle.
