Kolkata: Reacting sharply to BJP president Amit Shah’s assertion that his party would come to power in 2016 after dislodging the Trinamul, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said that capturing power in the state would not be easy for the BJP.
“The BJP leaders think that they can capture power in Bengal by making speeches over television channels, but they are sadly mistaken. They will get a big zero here because they do not have even an iota of capability to govern. In fact even if the BJP, CPM and Congress join hands they will get a big zero,” she claimed.
