Hyderabad: Victims of eve teasing, who are reluctant to come forward to lodge a complaint personally, can now also inbox a message on the Cyber Crime Police’s Face-book page.
Cops have assured that the details of the complainants would be kept confidential.
The messages will be checked by a team under the supervision of DCP, CCS, detective department, G. Pala Raju.
Apart from the victims, the common public, who are aware of eve-teasing hotspots, can also inform the police of the details and the She Teams will then take action.
Till now, more than a hundred eve-teasers were picked up by the teams from various places in the city and have been counselled in the presence of their families.
