Hyderabad: A Telugu teacher of a private school in Vanasthalipuram allegedly punished a Class VI student for poor performance in the examination.
The accused, Srinivas, hit the victim on the hand with a scale. After the incident, the student’s hand had swollen up.
Based on a complaint, a case was registered under Section 324 of the IPC and relevant Sections of the Juvenile Justice Act and is being investigated.
