Boy beaten with cable for missing tuition classes
Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri police booked a case against a tuition teacher for allegedly beating a student for absenteeism. The accused allegedly beat up the child with a data cable for a laptop. The victim sustained multiple injures on his hands, thighs and other places.
According to K. Saidulu, the SI of Malkajgiri, Rohit Kumar, a student of a private school in Sainikpuri, attends tuition classes at one Shailaja’s house in Prem Vijayanagar. Shailaja’s son Kiran Kumar Reddy too teaches mathematics and other subjects there.
In the recent past, the victim was absent for two days. When he returned to his tuition class on November 30, Kiran Kumar questioned him and beat him up. “He took the cable of his laptop and beat up the child.
The victim sustained simple injuries,” said the SI. A case was registered. The accused is yet to be arrested.
