Explained: The mysterious squiggly things floating in our eyes
What are the things you see floating in front of your eyes?
Have you see tiny thread like objects floating across in your vision? These are especially visible in sunlight. What you are seeing in front of your eyes are called 'Floaters.' Floaters are translucent specks that seem to float about in your field of vision. Most people have some floaters normally, but they usually do not notice them until they become numerous or more prominent.
Looking like cobwebs or squiggly lines or floating bugs, floaters become apparent when you look at something evenly bright, such as white paper or a blue sky, and are more evident when you move your eyes. They are especially noticeable on looking through an optical instrument, such as a microscope or binoculars.
