Hyderabad: In January, all hawkers will be issued Identity cards. They will be distributed in zones by the the GHMC.
No hawker will be allowed in the Red zones. In the Blue zones, they will be allowed to carry out their business on during certain fixed times, while in the Green zones, they are free to operate. The committee has already submitted the plan to the GHMC chief and the hawkers' zones will be set up in January 2015.
Aadhar, phone bill, EPIC, ration card, gas connection number, driving licence, PAN card, bank passbook, electricity charges receipt, water receipt or any other government document will serve as proof for registrations.
