The actress was attacked by an audience member

Mumbai: A man reportedly slapped Gauhar Khan during the filming of the grand finale of Raw Star. The man in question, Mohd Shafique, was a member of the audience. Reports say that he initially accused Gauhar of wearing short clothes despite being a Muslim, made lewd comments and then physically assaulted her.
Arjun Kapoor, Sajid- Wajid, Himesh Reshammiya and Mohit Chauhan all were seated on the dais. The incident happened right after Mohit Chauhan’s performance.
According to our source, “While Gauhar called for her make-up artist for a touch up, the intruder climbed on to the stage and hit Gauhar, who was taken by surprise. She started crying and shouted, ‘Isko pakaddo, kaun hai woh?’”
Despite the presence of many bouncers, this man managed to get close to Gauhar and hit her. The venue was packed with more than 2,000 people. Arjun rushed to help Gauhar, so did Sajid-Wajid. Finally the bouncers caught hold of the intruder, took him into a room, where he was reportedly beaten up.
Gauhar soon recovered from this nasty incident, and bravely continued with the show. Asst. Commissioner of Police Rajan Pillai, confirmed the incident. “A person named Mohd. Shafique, aged 25, has been arrested and is in custody. We are waiting for an FIR to be registered by Gauhar.”
