Mumbai: Patience, they say is a virtue and Akkians (Akshay Kumar's fan following) are seemingly the most patient of us all. On November 16, micro-blogging site Twitter went abuzz with the trend Waiting for BABY Trailer. The actor was overwhelmed with Twitterverse's reactions and promised an early teaser to appease his fans. The wait ended temporarily as Akshay Kumar unveiled the teaser of 'Baby' and a trailer was promised on December 3.

But Akkians couldn't get enough and the hashtag has been trending on Twitter ever since. Infact no other Bollywood movie has trended on Twitter for a such long period of time. For the uninitiated, Akshay’s next release is titled ‘Baby’ and has been directed by Neeraj Pandey. The movie also features Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa. while we are waiting on the trailer to release here's are other important things that have taken place:

Salman's youngest sister Arpita Khan tied the knot with long time beau Ayush Sharma in a royal wedding in Hyderabad's Faluknama palace. Shah Rukh Khan reconciled with Salman and Katrina danced at Arpita's wedding and all through this, Akshay Kumar fans still waited for the trailer.
The wait indeed has been so excrucitating that, Kim Kardashian managed to break to internet with her nude photo shoot. First by releasing pictures of her derrière and then a full frontal bare picture. Unbelievably
Veena Malik got sentenced to 26 years in jail for blasphemy in Pakistan during the wait. Riteish Dekhmukh welcomed home a baby boy with wife Genelia D'souza while Shweta Basu Prasad found her footing in B-town. Naseeruddin Shah released his memoirs 'And Then One Day' and YRF released a brand new trailer for the timeless classic 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', but Akkians did not loose heart.
The trend held its position among the top ten in Twitter even while Gauahar Khan was slapped by a member of the audience in a reality show. Bollywood condemned the attack on Gauahar but Akshay's fans didn't loose hope.
With such a furore amongst the fans even before the release, ‘Baby’ will be quite the scene stealer.
