Over the last week Aditya Roy Kapur and veteran actress Rekha shot for the first schedule of Abhishek Kapoor’s film Fitoor in Kashmir. And while they were at it, the two actors also took time for a bit of sightseeing.
A source from the production team tells us that while Rekha has always been popular in Kashmir, thanks to Silsila, Aditya was surprised that the locals even recognised him since none of his films have ever released in the state. Only a very small part of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, in which he had a supporting role, was shot in the state.
A source from the film’s team says, “The moment Aditya landed in Kashmir he received a lot of attention from female fans. There were many girls present at the airport who had got news of his arrival and were waiting to get one look at the star. Aditya was very surprised to receive so much attention because his big hit Aashiqui had not even released in Kashmir.” That’s stardom for you.
