A US-based company -- tapResume --headed by Indians, hopes to change the job-hunting scenario, thanks to the special search algorithm and "mapping" technology it has crafted.
It promises to create 2-way cloud-based communication between job seeker and prospective employer with a product called Resume Card -- a ready reckoner with fields like 'key skills', 'expert skills' 'salary expected' etc. Each response is carefully recorded and run through the algorithm to ensure accurate mapping of your skills.
The most important field in the resume card is the 'What do you want the employer to know about you', where you have to 'sell' yourself in 100 words. The service is free -- for now.
