Mr Naidu is forwarding all the requests to the analysis committee
Hyderabad: The analysis committee of the Telugu Desam is busy scrutinising the applications received from the party workers seeking various nominated posts.
Anticipating that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu may take up the issue, the TD analysis committee is preparing a list of the genuine workers.
At present, Mr Naidu may nominate members for temple committees and agriculture market committees. Demand for the latter is more than that of the temple committees, said party sources.
Applications from workers and second and third-level leaders are pouring in while some influential workers and leaders are submitting their applications directly to the Chief Minister through MLAs and MPs. However, Mr Naidu is forwarding all the requests to the analysis committee.
The committee. in its task to weed out ineligible applications, is enquiring about the applicants from local leaders. Priority will be given to sincere workers who had worked for the last 10 years for the party when it was not in power, said a source.
Some senior mandal-level leaders have applied for the chairpersons’ post of the temple and market Committees.
Meanwhile, TD sources said that the Mr Naidu will appoint Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) governing body soon.
Many TD leaders are aspiring for the TTD chairman’s post. Party sources said that Mr Naidu has assured to give TTD chairman’s post to former MLA Chadalavada Krishna Murthy.
