Want to buy or rent property? Hyderabad is most affordable
Hyderabad: Hyderabad continues to be the most affordable city both in terms of buying and renting a home.
According to an online study on real estate investments in India, people earning less than Rs 8 lakh per annum should rent accommodation while individuals in the Rs 8-10 lakh bracket can buy or rent homes.
The study states that people earning more than Rs 10 lakh per annum should buy homes in Hyderabad; though property prices have gone up in other cities, Hyderabad still remains affordable.
People with annual incomes of Rs 12 lakh and above can opt for buying a house in Hyderabad without compromising on their lifestyle, revealed the Buy vs. Rent Report, 2014, by the online personal finance adviser Artha Yantra.
Average rentals in the city hovers in the range of Rs 12,000 per month, a 15 per cent hike since last year. Property prices have gone up only by 11 per cent, the report said.
In the past two years, Hyderabad had proved to be the most affordable both in terms of renting as well as buying a home, when compared with other cities.
