Arulanandh attacked teacher in retaliation for punishment meted to his son

Chennai: The Chennai police on Sunday night arrested Rich India group’s managing director D. Arulanandhu, the prime accused who was involved in the attack of physical education teacher of Loyola matriculation higher secondary school, Kodambakkam, here on November 20. Arulanandhu, who was charged with attempt to murder S. Baskar Raj, the physical eduation teacher, was arrested in Tiruchy.
The attack on the teacher was in retaliation for the alleged corporal punished meted out by Bhaskar Raj to Arulanandhu’s son.The police have arrested 27 people in connection with the attack, but Arulanandhu had managed to evade arrest till Sunday.
