Hunt on for ‘travel agents’ who had sent IS recruit suspect Areeb to Iraq
Areeb may also be given a narco-analysis and lie-detector test
Mumbai: Interrogators questioning Kalyan’s Areeb Majeed are focusing their probe on the possibility of a local recruiter paying for him and three others to go to Iraq, as they don’t believe they could have borne the Rs 60,000 per head cost themselves.
Areeb may also be given a narco-analysis and lie-detector test. Areeb, along with Aman Tandel, Fahad Shaikh and Fahim Tanki, had each paid Rs 60,000 to Rahat Tours and Travels in Dongri to enrol for a pilgrimage the firm organises to holy shrines in Iraq.
“Areeb says he saved money, but it does not add up,” sources said.
