A chit fund firm allegedly cheated its investors of Rs 53 lakh
Kottayam: The excise circle inspector of Changanassery, Mr Krishnakumar, who allegedly collected money as contribution for the Janapaksha Yatra of KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran, has been suspended from service.
The action was on the basis of the report of the excise deputy commissioner. He had allegedly collected Rs 50,000 from the toddy shop owners for the yatra.
Mr Sudheeran had demanded stern action against Mr Krishnakumar and asked the police to charge a case against him.
