The fund raising cricket tournament will be a yearly event to raise funds for Faza Foundation
Visakhapatnam: Faza foundation in association with MBYC will be organising Vizag Super T-20 Cricket Tournament from December 1 to 8 at Port Stadium in the city. It is the first of its kind cricket tournament in Vizag.
Talking to newsmen here on Thursday, Dr Aslam Aarif, Gulraj Saleh and Ishtiyak of Faza foundation said that this is a corporate cricket tournament and a total of 16 teams_ VPC Sports Club, BNI Vizag, Nav Ship, Waltair club Raiders, RVR Titans, Varun Gladiators, WNS Master Blaster, WNS Warriors, Vihar Super Kings, Eastern Naval Command Cricket Team, Vizag Shipping Warriors, Vaibhav-IX, HP-CL-VR Cricket Team, Brandix and Alwar Das Group will be battling out for top honours of Rs 1 lakh cash prize and a stunning winners’ trophy while the runners up will get Rs 50,000 cash prize.
The fund raising cricket tournament will be a yearly event to raise funds for Faza Foundation. The tournament will be on knock-out basis with two matches per day. The session starts at 9.30 am and the afternoon session at 1:30 pm. The winners of the knockout tournament will then play in a Grand Final on December 8.
