CM N Chandrababu Naidu to have posh dining hall
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is planning to have a sprawling dining hall, equipped with the latest gadgets, in his office at the Secretariat. Mr Naidu, who is currently on a tour of Japan, plans to add some other countries to his itinerary.
The Chief Minister is expecting several foreign dignitaries and delegates to visit his office to discuss investments and the construction of new capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Therefore, it is his wish to have a huge dining hall to host lunches or dinners for visiting foreign dignitaries.
On the instructions of the Chief Minister, officials have undertaken the construction of the dining hall at the rear end of the Chief Minister’s Office.
This hall will be attached to the CM's office. The dining hall will be large enough to accommodate around 20 people at a time.
Arrangements are also being made both for a buffet system as well as a sit-down meal. Expensive dining table sets and crockery are being sourced by interior experts.
Special attention is being given to décor and lighting. The dining hall will be used only for special occasions and foreign dignitaries. On regular occasions, the dining room attached to the CM’s office will be used.
A senior official said that Mr Naidu wanted the new dining room to be of world-class standards.
The construction of dining hall is on in full swing and is currently out of bounds for all. When asked about the new dining hall, some CMO officials also expressed surprise and said that they were not aware of it.
