The shocking incident happened during his 'IAMSORRY' event in Los Angeles
Melbourne: Shia LaBeouf has revealed that he was raped by a woman in a gallery earlier this year.
The ' Transformers' star, who made the shocking revelations in a series of emails with a journalist from Dazed, said that the incident happened during his "IAMSORRY" event in Los Angeles, where he sat silently in a gallery for five days with a paper bag on his head and members of the public were invited to visit him, one by one, and spend some time with him, News.com.au reported.
He said that one woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped his legs for ten minutes and then stripped his clothing and proceeded to rape him.
The 28-year-old actor said that there were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with dishevelled hair and smudged lipstick and on top of that his girlfriend was in to see him too and he couldn't explain anything to her.
LaBeouf added that they both sat with this unexplained trauma silently and it was very painful.
