The actresses took to social media to support a good cause
Mumbai: Bollywood is putting their seflies to good use. A Mumbai-based construction company has come up with a campaign where if someone shares 10 selfies tagging them over social-networking platform, they will sponsor the education of an underprivileged child.
This calls to mind the #NoMakeUpSelfie trend which sweeped our newsfeeds with many fresh-faced ladies ‘daring’ to go without make-up in support of a good cause.
Jacqueline Fernandez shared a selfie and wrote: 'Selfies for a cause all thanks to @supremeuniversal 10 selfies sponsor 1 child's education!'
Sonakshi Sinha supported the initiative and wrote: 'Come on guys, do it now :) selfies for a cause!!'
Nimrat Kaur wrote: 'FINALLY a way to put this newly acquired talent for us all to good use !!! Read all in here carefully... Do the needful and do it before the 30th of November !! Share this with all you know .... Point that camera and click awayyyy.'
Ileana D'Cruz shared a selfie (left) and wrote: 'Selfie for a cause! Sans the grease paint! #EduSelfie #CelebrateLife'
While Alia, who has just wrapped up 'Shaandar' wrote: A selfie in sickness and in health ;) #EduSelfie #CelebrateLife
