Leopard terror grips Guwahati
The leopard and its cub have developed the habit of entering into the city
Guwahati: In a terrifying development, a resident of Kharguli area on Tuesday found a leopard enjoying his sleep in a plastic chair in his portico. The leopard and its cub have developed the habit of entering into the city to hunt domestic animals frequently.
Before this, the residents of Kamakhya gate area had presented CCTV footage, which captured movement of leopards at night. The leopards were caught to have been playing on the boundary wall of a house.
On the same night some leopards were spotted in the Professors’ Colony of Guwahati University. Professors said that during the daytime, they are terrorized by monkeys and now presence of leopard has become a matter of serious concern.
