YRF recreates magic with Shah Rukh, Kajol-starrer DDLJ's reprised trailer

No one could forget his performance as a love-struck man who tries to win over the girl's parents in the superhit 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' with Kajol. The movie earned him the name 'King of Romance' .
Mumbai: The king of romance Shah Rukh Khan became the household 'Raj' we all love to watch paired with the girl-next-door Simran aka Kajol—all thanks to the iconic 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. Aditya Chopra's 'DDLJ' gained the cult status ever since its release in 1995 and with the new trailer the magic has been recreated.
Released on October 19, 1995, 'Dil Wale Dulhania Le Jayenge' epic of a story hit 19 years recently and since then the head honchos of YRF had been busy planning and preparing for a perfect ode to be given to this movie, which the trailer said, redefined love. DDLJ, as the movie is fondly called, gave a new lease of life to the YashRaj banner and endowed SRK with the identity of ‘Romantic Hero’. It also established actress Kajol and director Aditya Chopra in the Indian Film Industry. Reportedly, as a part of the celebrations, SRK and Kajol, who were last seen in ‘My Name Is Khan’, will appear on hit television show, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ to celebrate the 1000 week run of their Bollywood cult classic.
As a tribute to the classic YRF has now has released a brand new trailer. Showcasing some of the iconic moments from the film, the trailer takes us down memory lane and reminds us of how Raj and Simran created cinematic history. King Khan went on to express his excitement on social media:
