Singapore eyes more Indians
Changi Airport Group expects an increase in its air passenger traffic
Hyderabad: Changi Airport Group expects an increase in its air passenger traffic from India to Singapore by 2 to 3 per cent to 7.5 million footfalls this fiscal year.
Since 2010, around 2.5 million passengers visited Singapore every year from India which rose to 3.2 million in 2013 and and is expected to touch 7.5 million footfalls this fiscal.
“The rise in footfalls could be attributed to the rising income levels in the country,” said Robin Goh, assistant vice-president (corporate communications), Changi Airport Group, on Monday.
The company is targetting the business commuity in Hyderabad which is a frequent visitor to Singapore.
