Windows Phone 8.1 bug confirmed on two Lumia smartphones
Microsoft had released the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system for Lumia smartphones a while ago. However, users had reported a few bugs, which affected two Lumia devices after the update.
Windows Phone 8.1 operating system has a bug and Microsoft has confirmed that the bug was affecting two Lumia devices in specific. The Nokia Lumia 925 and Nokia Lumia 1020 are the two devices which are facing issues with the new operating system update.
According to a report on Softpedia, The Nokia Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020 have an issue with the power regulator after the new update rolled out. Microsoft has confirmed the issue and will release a fix within a few days.
The affected Lumia devices are said to be freezing when trying to wake up from sleep mode.
Microsoft has confirmed that they were receiving an increased number of feedback regarding the two devices. They will be releasing the patch fix in the next update.

The report stated that Microsoft user Heather Ackmann recommends those affected by the problem to disable the lock screen and change the show detailed status app to “None,” as these tweaks appear to prevent freezing on the Lumia 1020. Additionally, users can also change the Glance Screen interval settings to 30 seconds in case the problem still occurs.
